Message from the Chairman
On behalf of Thana Family Enterprises LLC, I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to the community, our customers, and all stakeholders who have supported our activities since our establishment in 1921.
For more than one hundred years, our Enterprises have conducted operations with careful attention to all accounts, with gratitude and service to the community, and with dedication and diligence. As the Enterprises move forward into the next century of operation, we remain committed to the systematic management of all investments, maintenance and longevity, and the preservation of our Strategic Reserve for future generations.
It is our duty to uphold the traditions entrusted to us.
In the words of our founder, C.L. Boulos - who served the community as President of the Rotary Club of DeKalb, President of the DeKalb County Shrine Club, President of St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church, and as a member of Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 144 DeKalb - during an interview published on February 28, 1952 with the Elgin Daily Courier-News: “This is truly the land of opportunity and it has the principles and freedom that I love. My father brought me here because he wanted me to have the advantage of living in the United States.”
