Message from the Chairman
On behalf of Thana Family Enterprises LLC, I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to the community, our customers, and all stakeholders who have supported our activities since our establishment in 1921.
For more than one hundred years, the Enterprises have diligently conducted operations with gratitude and service to the community. As the Enterprises move forward into their second century of operation, we remain committed to the systematic management of all investments, the firm’s maintenance and longevity, and the preservation of the Strategic Reserve. It is our duty to uphold the traditions entrusted to us.
In the words of our founder, C.L. Boulos - who served the community as President of the Rotary Club of DeKalb, President of the DeKalb County Shrine Club, President of St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church, member Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 144 DeKalb, and in many other capacities - during an interview published on February 28, 1952 with the Elgin Daily Courier-News: “This is truly the land of opportunity and it has the principles and freedom that I love. My father brought me here because he wanted me to have the advantage of living in the United States.”
